This policy explains what personal data Bestandly collects, why, and what your choices are. Bestandly is operated by , 88213 Ravensburg (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at jakubecdenis2@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored in hashed form; we never see them in plain text.
• Workspace data you enter: inventory items, stock counts and movements, suppliers and their contact details, recipes, sales entries, purchase orders, locations, and the names and emails of team members you invite.
• Billing details: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and its status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and server logs created when you use the service, used for security and troubleshooting.
• Notification settings: if you turn on push notifications, a device address provided by your browser, used only to deliver the alerts you chose.
• Emails we send for you: purchase orders to your suppliers, low-stock alerts, invitations and account emails.

2. Why we use it

• To provide and operate the service you signed up for (performance of our contract with you).
• To take payments and keep tax and accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems (our legitimate interests).
• To send service emails such as sign-in links, password resets, alerts and order emails.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) who handle data only to run Bestandly:

• Supabase: database and authentication
• Vercel: hosting of the application
• Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing
• Resend: sending transactional emails
• Sentry: error monitoring (technical error reports, with email addresses and request contents removed)

If you turn on push notifications, messages travel through the push service of your browser or phone maker (for example Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft). We may also disclose data if the law requires it. When you send a purchase order, its contents and your reply-to details go to the supplier email address you chose.

4. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this applies, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as dark mode, and let the app work offline. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and workspace data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law (for example billing records). Copies in backups are overwritten on the normal backup schedule.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls that keep each workspace’s data separate from others. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Data about other people

You may enter personal data about others, for example supplier contacts or team members. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to do so. For that data we act as your processor and handle it only to provide the service to you.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and to object to certain uses. Email jakubecdenis2@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Bestandly is a business tool for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top shows the latest version.
